The Tax Collector's Office is located in the upper level of the Municipal Building, room 202. The office is open Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., except holidays.

The Tax Collector has the responsibility of collecting taxes, as well as keeping tax records.

The quarterly increments are due on February 1, May 1, August 1, and November 1. There is a 10-day grace period for each quarter. If the 10^th falls on a weekend or holiday the grace period will be the next business day.

The tax bills are mailed in July and the first payment due is August 1.

Payments can now be made online using our secure on-line payment system.  NOTE:The Township needs to close out the 2010 tax year. Online tax payment processing will resume on Monday, January 3, 2011. We're sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

There is a drive-up drop-box for your convenience. It is located in front of the main entrance to the Municipal Building.

The Tax Collector must hold a Tax Sale on all delinquent municipal charges, including TEMUA’s water and sewer rents. The sale can be held as early as November 11, of the current year, but no later than December 31, of the next year. The Tax Sale is advertised in the Central Record, which is a weekly paper available on Thursday. The advertisement is published four weeks prior to the sale.
