Dear Residents:
Please be advised that effective Tuesday, February 11, 2011, cut-through traffic on Annapolis Drive will be prohibited between the hours of 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm Monday through Friday and Saturday from 9 am to 7 pm.
This new regulation was adopted pursuant to ordinances 1-2-2011 and 2-2-2011, and is supported by the attached study that confirms residents' concerns that cut-through traffic between Evesboro-Medford Road and Locust Avenue exceeds acceptable levels for a residential development and has grown in recent years. The study also shows that using the surrounding arterial roads to avoid the Mayfair neighborhood cut-through has a marginal impact on travel time.
Thank you in advance for cooperation and contributing to a better quality of life in our neighborhoods.
Regards,
Thomas Czerniecki
Township Manager

EVESHAM TOWNSHIP POLICE DEPARTMENT
PRESS RELEASE
Prepared By
Captain Frank Locantore
October 12, 2010
Citizen Satisfaction Survey
One of the major objectives of the mission of the Evesham Township Police Department is the delivery of effective police services. In today’s economic climate it is imperative that the Department make every effort to ensure that our efforts are having a positive effect on the quality of life for the people who live and work in our community. To accomplish this mission, the Department is seeking feedback from our customers; the people who live and work within our borders and with whom we come in contact on a daily basis. In order to evaluate our performance, the Department has created a citizen satisfaction survey. The survey, which can be completed on-line, asks the participant to rate their experiences and concerns with regards to criminal activity in the Township and the nature of the contact between the respondent and the police department. The survey also asks the respondent for their opinions with regards to eleven different characteristics such as professionalism, communication skills, integrity and courtesy. Respondents may also provide feedback in the form of suggestions in the comments field. The information obtained from this survey will be utilized by the Department’s Administration to evaluate their policing strategies and implement, modify or eliminate programs as needed. The survey may be accessed by using the above hyperlink.
